In July 2000, the American Company “TNInvestments, Inc.” founded in Russia a 100 % affiliated company – the Joint-Stock Company «Trading house «Russian Galleries». The key competitive advantages of the new company are a strong team of managers attracted from TSUM, GUM, the financial sector (see «Management") and the introduction of new distribution technologies for CIS-countries. And the subsequent expansion allowed Russian galleries to become in 2005 an absolute leader among the commercial mail ordering and e-commerce companies operating in the segment of clothes, footwear, ladies’ and men's underwear, hosiery group (see “History of Success”).

The Company «Russian galleries» has its own delivery service that enables the authorization and settlements by using credit and debit cards in buyer’s presence. In this way, the buyers are encouraged to place orders by using credit and debit cards avoiding information theft. A distinctive feature of Russian galleries is the off-line authorization directly on processing company’s basis. This factor made it possible to essentially reduce buyers’ expenses on payment for orders.

Outside Moscow and the Moscow region, catalogues and orders are delivered by the Federal Postal Service and international forwarding companies. The own delivery service of Russian galleries is distinguished for the best parameters in comparison with its Russian competitors and foreign companies: the time of delivery of catalogues and orders in Moscow does not exceed three (!) hours and in the districts near Moscow is up to 72 hours. The wholesale operations are extended due to the optimum price policy and the strict observance of payment discipline.
